Steven Paul "Steve" Jobs (born in San Francisco, California, United States, February 24, 1955 - died in Palo Alto, California, USA, October 5, 2011 at age 56 years) is a business leader and inventor of the United States. He is co-founder, chairman and former CEO of Apple Inc. Jobs also previously served as executive officer of Pixar Animation Studios; he became a member of the board of directors of The Walt Disney Company in 2006, after taking control of Pixar by Disney. His name is listed as executive producer in the 1995 film Toy Story.
